● Social Support & Education: Mentoring youth, tutoring, visiting the elderly, or teaching English/life skills.

● Operational & Support: Sorting donations at food banks, administrative tasks, and packing care packages.

● Environmental & Community: Cleaning up local parks, community gardening, or planting trees.

● Direct Care & Service: Serving food, assisting in hospitals, or managing pet shelters

● Free accommodation rarely guarantees luxury. Expect shared bathrooms, limited internet, and sometimes no warm water.

● 3 meals a day for volunteers, often featuring local, home-cooked dishes.

● 112.5 dollars a week and 450 dollars a month.

● Essential Traits: Reliability, passion, patience, and the ability to work in a team.

● Age Requirements: Often 18+ for international or formal programs (e.g., UN Volunteers).
